Votive Lamps at the Shrines

Votive Lamps at the Shrines burn in honour of the Saints, as votive offerings, and as a sign and encouragement of our prayer. You can make an offering* to have a lamp burn at one of the Shrines for your intention during a particular week (Saturday to Saturday) at the Sacred Heart, St Joseph, St John Fisher, or St Thomas More; or one of the twin 3-day lamps (Saturday to Monday) at our Marian Shrine in the Lady Chapel.

* Suggested offerings:   £5 for a 7-day lamp;   £3 for a 3-day Lady Chapel Lamp.

Just put your offering into an envelope, with the following details:

1. VOTIVE LAMP AT THE SHRINE OF... the name of the Shrine
2. The preferred Saturday from which you want the lamp to burn
3. The person or intention for which you with the lamp to burn
4. Your name and telephone number in CAPITAL LETTERS

Either post your envelope through the Presbytery letter-box or put it in the Sunday collection basket.
